Brimonidine precautions

Do not use Brimonidine:

• If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to brimonidine tartrate or any of the other ingredients of Brimonidine
• If you are taking monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors or certain drugs for depression. Tell your doctor if you take any medicine for depression
• If you are breastfeeding
• For newborns and toddlers (from birth to age 2)

Before using this medication, tell your doctor:

• If you have or have suffered from depression, decreased mental ability, reduced blood supply to the brain, heart problems, disorders of the blood supply to the limbs, or blood pressure problems.
• If you have or have had problems with their kidneys or liver.
